Things get real at the Fuck Shop!

Ring Ring!
Mike Kelley's Zach Calahan calls proposing meeting up at Amsterdam Falafel in Adam's Morgan. So we sent RSBYT's very own Ryan Hunter Mitchell to check out the scene.

First off, NO COVER. I don't know if it was just because my blogger status or because I looked important but I got through the line without getting carded or having to pay the door guy. The first thing to catch my eye is this fly French Girl accompanied by Zach Callahan. The place was packed so it was hard to find a seat so i stood for a while. Zach got french fries which we all shared (the french girl used mayonaise instead of Ketchup!! GROSS!) The falafel was incredible, for all those out there who haven't tried them I highly recommend it, that is if you can handle ethnic food. David called and asked if I was going to the Fuck Shop later (which I was) but I said I had to call him back because I had to put pickled cauliflower and beets on my Amsterdam Falafel. After that the French Girl and some other guys went to the Black Cat. Zach and I hit Columbia Rd. on foot and cruised over to the Fuck Shop!
It was even crazier there. there was beer, ginger ale, bourbon... you name it. Flash Mcgash showed up and then everything else became a haze!
David called again, he said he was at chez Shauna B. Alexander with Lightfoot, they said the party was packed over there!!!

  2. it's one misspelling away from the Tuck Shop, an Australian MEAT PIE vendor on St. Mark's in NY (google maps lies, it's actually E 8th st between 1st av and av A). i got my meat pie to go after having eaten with a random fan at the "secret" lift-the-phone-in-crif-dogs-closet-to-get-in cocktail lounge please don't tell...eating the appropriately penis-shaped meat pie now in college park...
