Craigslist Creep of the Week

This lady gets creep of the week just for her last line.

is the “new business card” window still open? - w4m - 28 (14th and v)

hello universe,

first-timer here. i know there’s an extraordinarily small chance of this ever
being found by the right person but there’s probably an even slimmer chance
that i’ll run into him again. so i might as well try throwing this
open to the universe. and if happenstance should bring us together
again, then at least I’ll have a "can you believe what i did?!" funny
story to share, right?

we met at busboys and poets last wed night. you were working on your
laptop on the sofa next to mine. my delightful, gregarious friend was
chatting you up as i was paying our bill. i was too nervous to talk to
you because i thought you were oh too cute and just my type. you did
give me a window though when you asked if i had my new business cards
yet. i sheepishly said "yes” and regretfully didn’t offer you one.
and now i’m wondering if i missed the (dream!) boat.

if you’re out there reading missed connections for the first time like
i am, let me know and reference something from our brief interlude
together.

c’mon universe, do me a solid.

  1. do me a liquid, really.

maybe she can get his number from her gregarious friend who chatted him up. everyone likes a girl who pays bills.

  2. actually, i just realized i know someone who can help her out - afterbite, a seduction artist who coaches people on improving their game. where is this ad? i'm going to write her and tell her to get in touch with this dating coach creep - they're perfect for each other.

  3. reading his website, at first impression looks like it's for men, but told me he coaches both men and women for equal opportunity fakeness and creepiness.
