The Ramblings of an Englishman in DC: Who cares about the Winter Olympics

So another Winter Olympics has come and gone but what does it mean? who cares? I don't care about the damn normal Olympics and it's pointless competition. Winter Olympics is just pointless competition in the snow. In fact 90% of Countries don't have snow so therefore 90% of people by default shouldn't care. Also, Canadia the most pointless Country in the World hosts the most pointless competition in the World, at least that makes some sense.

When I think about the invention of the Winter Olympics some douche bags sledding in some crappy snow ridden Town in nowhere come up with the idea of making it a sport to act like 5 year old.

Douche #1 "Man I love the snow dude, we should do this every year"
Douche #2 "Yo dude we should make our own Olympics"
Douche #1 "Totally see who can get down the hill the quickest"

After this amazing idea every 4 years we watch people on TV go down a hill in the snow. Well some people do, I'm watching English Football. I'm sorry I just hate Canada after they named a place British Columbia... misleading as hell no British wit and beer nor the Columbia coke we all love.
